1935-2019
The death of Clifton Eugene Shaw of Peel occurred on Wednesday,
October 23, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
October 28, 1935 in Simonds he was the son of the late Carvell and
Stella (Prosser) Shaw. He was also predeceased by 3 siblings, Wayne
Shaw, Arthur Shaw and Dorothy Giberson (Milton).
Clifton is survived by his wife, Marie; 2 sons, Brian Shaw (Sally) and
Brent Shaw (Sharon); 4 grandchildren, Steven Shaw (Erin), Samantha
Shaw, Tyson Shaw and Dylan Shaw; 3 great grandchildren, Kamden,
Kyleigh and Kalaiah; chosen daughter, Judy Lane (Mike) and her
children, Chelsea and Brendon; 4 sisters, Glenna Trecartin, Patricia
Dickinson, Marilyn Robinson (Herbie) and Darlene Batchelor as well as
several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from The Britton Funeral Home, 2 High St.
Hartland on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service
will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Lorne
Britton Memorial Chapel. Pastor Brian Bradley will officiate. The
interment will follow in the Simonds Cemetery. Donations made to the
Alzheimer’s Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke
