Willis Harry Beehler, age 93 formerly of New Hamburg and Gads Hill passed away peacefully on September 5, 2019 at Greenwood Court, Stratford. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, son of the late Harry and Jessie (Near) Beehler. Predeceased by his wife Cora (Wilhelm) Beehler (2011). He is survived by children Charles (Mary Joyce) Beehler, Gene (Kathy) Beehler and Barbara Kramer. Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, dear sister Grace Roth, sisters-in-law Rosemary Beehler, Richard (Eileen) Wilhelm, Racheal Wilhelm, Mary (Cook) Bankert. Besides his parents and wife, Willis was predeceased by his son-in-law Richard Kramer, his brother Robert Beehler, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jessie Beehler, Donald Roth, Raymond (Margaret) Wilhelm, Ivan (Rusty) Wilhelm, Morris (Virginia) Wilhelm, Edward (Amanda) Bankert and Chester Wilhelm. Friends and relatives will be received at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, September 7, from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 8, at 10:30 a.m. at North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church, 1993 Line 43, Perth East (Amulree) with Allan Bankert and Andrew Young officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
