William “Bill” Varga
November 14, 1928-September 30, 2019
Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2019 at the age of 90 years. He longed to be reunited with his beloved late wife Helene (nee Robinson) (1992). Adored father of David Varga and wife Jocelyn, Deborah Mead and husband Jude. Proud Gramps of David John Varga (Nicole), Stephanie Won (Trevor), Jude Andrew Mead (Jennifer), Ashleigh Harris (Nathan). Loving Great-Gramps of Dryden, Carson, Jackson, Hudson, and Jude William. He was loved by his long-time companion Betty Renaud. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Varga and by siblings Leslie Varga, and Betty Thibert. Survived by in laws; Leonard Thibert, Harold Robinson, Jean Gut, and Joan Little. Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Most will remember William as the past Mayor of LaSalle. He was an active member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in LaSalle. Above all, Bill will be remembered as being a great friend, caring neighbour but more importantly a devoted family man.
Visiting Thursday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Friday, everyone is welcome to visit with the family at St. Andrews Anglican Church (205 Laurier Dr., LaSalle) from 10 am until time of the Service Celebrating his Life at 11 am.
