Wayne Alexander Harvey

WAYNE ALEXANDER HARVEY
May 27, 1942– September 16, 2019
Wayne was the son of Edwin (Ted) and Zenovia Harvey and he is survived by his wife, Patricia, and his brother, Ian. He was a talented and charming man who enjoyed long discussions, good music and heading out to the shop to create something new or fix something old. Wayne was born in Regina, Saskatchewan; his family moved to Calgary when he was very young and he lived in Calgary until he retired to Sechelt BC in 1996. He attended Glendale School, Mount Royal College and was a graduate of the University of Calgary. For a number of years, he was an instructor at Mount Royal College; he later worked for Chevron Oil, Shell Oil and the Calgary Board of Education. In 1996, he and Pat moved to Sechelt, BC and enjoyed many years of retirement. At his request, there will be no service, but we ask you to remember him by having a drink of your favourite beverage and doing a cryptic crossword.
In his memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Wayne Alexander Harvey..
