It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, in the presence of his loving family, at the Palliative Care Unit, Leonard Miller Centre on September 28th, 2019, age 73 yrs. Predeceased by parents Leo and Madonna Druken, brother: Hughie, sister: Barbara- Anne, father and mother in law: Joshua and Minnie Jackson , sister in law: Beulah. Leaving to mourn his wife of 53 yrs, Rona, children: Martin and Juanita(Mick), granddaughters: Kayla and Shannon, great grandson; Brennan who he loved dearly, brothers: Pat (Edie), Leo, Victor, David (Bev), Donald (Mary), sister: Pinky (George), sisters in law Frances, Betty (Bill), Barb(Ed), Mabel (Selb), Mona (Stewart) and brother in law Fred. Also leaving to mourn special friends Jackie and Keith, Herb and Mary, Members of the Knights of Columbus, fur babies: Chloe, Beauty and Sassy and many friends. Visitation in The James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel on Tuesday , October 1st, 2019 at 11 am. Internment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kelligrews. Donations in Valentines Memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
