Obituary of Sylvia Jean Keddy
Sylvia Jean Keddy, age 89 of Hali fax, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019. Born in Sheet Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Parker and Jean (Kenney) Bezanson.
She was a nurse and served in various Hospitals in the Halifax area.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters Elaine Ross (Kirk), Diane Lutwick (Gary) and Sigrid Dalton (Peter); son Clyde Redmond (Sandra); sister Agnes Dorey; brothers St. Clair and Carl; three step-children and their families; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her first husband, Victor Redmond; second husband, Otis Keddy; grandchildren Allison and Ryan; brother Aubrey; sisters Sigrid and Bernice.
A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at at 2:00 pm in Woodlawn United Church with Rev. Phillip Kennedy officiating. There will ba a reception following in the Woodlawn United Church Hall. Burial will be held in Brookside. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
