It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Joseph Gawlinski Q.C. announce his passing on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
Stephen will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Lorna; three children, Victoria (Rob) Christen, John Gawlinski (Floor Spaans) and Mark Gawlinski (Eunice Tham); two grandchildren, Zachary Christen and Isabelle Christen; mother, Helen “Lola” Gawlinski; sister, Mary (Dave); brother, Geoffrey; aunt, Sophie; as well as extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, John.
Prayer Service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, Edmonton South, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. (Access is via 17th Street and 76 Avenue only.)
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close NW, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Stephen may be made to Covenant Foundation in support of Grey Nuns Community Hospital.

  1. I just recently learned of Stephens passing . I have not seen him for a long time but remember well his common sense approach to life and his sense of humour . My sincerest condolences to The whole Gawlinski Family
