Stanley Allan Behm

Obituary of Stanley Allan Behm
Stan of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday,September 27, 2019 at the age of 80 years.
Although Stan lived in Calgary for the last 45 years, he was a farmer at heart. He took over the family farm in 1955 when his father passed away and worked the farm in the Luseland, Saskatchewan area until 1974. Stan had many fond memories of raising his boys and their activities, like, taking them on rides on the Zamboni at the local rink, hunting and fishing with them and trips to Luseland to visit their Gramdma Behm and to show them the farming life and community where he was raised. He treasured his visits and quality time with his granddaughters.
Stan will be forever remembered by his two sons, Robert (Corrie) Behm of Bolder Colorado, Bradley (Ellen) Behm of Seattle; his granddaughters Colleen, Isabelle and Ella. Stan is also survived by his brother Norm (Sharyl) Behm of Osoyoos; his sisters Sr. Adeline Behm of Saskatoon, Rosemarie (Adelard) Ouimet of Edmonton, Jean (Stewart) Taylor of Calgary, and Rita (Martin) Schotte of Vancouver Island as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Stan was predeceased by his father Mike Behm in 1955, his mother Helen C. Behm in 2012 as well as his sister Lucille Steinhauer in 2018.
The family would like to thank the staff in Unit 82 at the Foothills Medical Centre for their care and compassion.
