Passed away, after a courageous struggle with illness, at the V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock on September 24th, 2019, Sherry Lynne Cosby, a resident of Tillsonburg for over 38 years, at the age of 59. Sherry will be remembered for her love of animals, especially cats and for her enjoyment of music, in particular Shania Twain. Sherry was an active participant with Community Living activities throughout Tillsonburg. Born to the late Ira Cosby and late Gladys (Mayhew) Cosby, Sherry will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: the late Wayne (2017) (survived by wife Sharon), of Smithville; Larry (Phyllis), of Stoney Creek; Lorraine (Lyle Robb), of Binbrook; Owen (Gay), of Burlington; Darryl, of Hamilton; Maxine, of Hamilton; and Murray (Kim) Mako, of Holland Landing, Ont. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Sherry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life to remember Sherry’s Life will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m., at Rymal Road Community Church, 1967 Rymal Road East, Stoney Creek L8J2R7. Inurnment to follow in the Hannon Free Methodist Cemetery. Memorial donations to the “Community Living, Tillsonburg” or to “V.O.N. Oxford” (Sakura House) would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Maurice J.
