LeBLANC (LEUVERINK), Sharon – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon (Leuverink) LeBlanc on Monday September 23, 2019, in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 55. Sharon was born in Brampton, Ontario on October 5, 1963 to William and Diane Leuverink. She graduated from North Park Secondary School, then Sheridan College and opened a successful business in 1986. She recently continued her education at Humber College and graduated as an RPN in 2018. Sharon enjoyed playing Slo-Pitch, hockey and golf, spending time with her dog Mocha, and doing DIY projects around her home. She is survived by her mother Diane Leuverink, sister Marlene Kavanaugh (Tom) both of Niagara Falls; brother Bill Leuverink (Debbie) of Barrie, and nieces and nephews; Kyla Kavanaugh-Massolin (Geremy), Matthew Leuverink (Lee Anne) and Nicole Leuverink. She is predeceased by her father William Leuverink. Sharon fought a courageous battle and passed from complications due to pancreatic cancer. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, for their care and compassion. Thank you to the ‘Team’ at Princess Margaret Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Rebecca Prince and Dr. Lillian Siu. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held Friday at 1 pm at the funeral home. In memory of Sharon, memorial contributions may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
