SCHULTZ, Isabel Annie (nee Dyler)
June 13, 1929 – September 1, 2019
Isabel Annie Schultz (nee Dyler) of Calgary, passed away at the Dulcina Hospice on Sunday September 1, 2019. She was predeceased by her loving husband of forty seven years, Bennie Frank Schultz, and her daughter Linda Schultz in 1979. Isabel is survived by her children; Larry Schultz (Darlene), Lorraine Schultz, Lois Goldsworthy, Leona Arseneault, Laura Negard (Doug), Lyle Schultz (Penny), Leland Schultz (Medina), and Lola O’Brien (Ken). She had twelve grandchildren; Tammy Lieske, Rosalind Goldsworthy, Loreen McIlwrick, Amanda Skeard, Alyssa Negard, April Thiessen, Guy Verquin, Jules Verquin, Aaron O’Brien, Sarah Schultz, Kristopher Schultz, Colin Schultz, and ten great grandchildren; Kathleen (Missy), Kurtis, Spencer Lieske, Vanessa, Carly, Madeline McIlwrick, Brooke Schultz, Sawyer, Silas Negard Skeard, Rebecca, and Abigail Thiessen. Isabel has one living brother, Harry Dyler, on the West Coast. She was predeceased by eight other siblings; Jim, Bob, Jack, Joe, Jean, William, and Walter.
She loved life to the fullest as she travelled to many destinations with family and friends. She worked as a cook for Central Park Lodge Nursing Home and Home Oil. Isabel enjoyed cooking, baking, cards, puzzles, and spending time with loved ones. Isabel often said she had a full and happy life. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives that were touched by her.
A Celebration of Isabel’s Life will be held on Friday September 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Church, 6311 Norfolk Drive N.W. Calgary.
