Hirons: Ronald Edward After telling his last joke and having his last Pepsi at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, Ron passed peacefully on September 3, 2019. Ron Hirons was in his 80th year, beloved husband and best friend of Denise. Loving father of Jamie (Cindi), Brett, and Melanie (Rick). Lovingly remembered as Papa and Grandpa to Veronica, Josh, Charlotte and Isaac. Dear brother of George (Kathleen), Earl (Marilyn), and Uncle to Beth (Nathan). Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will take place at Cliffside Hall at Rod Abrams Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2019. From 2:00 – 4:00pm. Spoken remembrances at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to Matthews House Hospice, Alliston.
