It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we announce the passing of BERNARD ULRIC PHILLIP on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the age of 65, at Michael Garron Hospital.
Bernard will be greatly missed by Sandra; his loving wife, mother Phillis Phillip, sisters Helen and Nicole in Canada. Rebecca and Lisa in the United States, Christine in Trinidad and brother Waine in Canada. Other immediate family members in Grenada, extended nieces and nephews in Canada, the United States and Grenada.
Bernard loved people and having long conversations. At this time of loss and grief for us – and so many others- we are profoundly grateful for the care and concern he demonstrated every day, he was a remarkable individual. Bernard will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
There will be a viewing at the PAUL O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave, East. (between Pharmacy and Warden) on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 12-1:00 pm. Service will be held in our Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment York Cemetery, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ON.
Memorial donations may be made in Bernard’s name to the LUNG ASSOCIATION OF CANADA.
