EVERSON, Philip – Philip Thomas Hutchison Everson, suddenly at the Ottawa Army Run on Sunday September 22, 2019 at the age of 26 years. Dear partner of Eric Evenchick. Beloved son of Tom and Johneen (née Rennie) Everson. Loved brother of Rebecca Everson. Cherished grandson of Philip Everson (Sheree Kearns) and Reverend Dr. Fred and Johneen Rennie. Loved nephew of John Rennie (Suellen), Jeremy Rennie (Krissy), Deborah Tropea (Peter), Kathy Lucking (Barry), Warren (Beth), Jim (Valerie), Patty Everson (Mike Quince), and Mike (Cheyenne). Lovingly remembered by many cousins and friends. Predeceased by his Nan, Lorna Everson and his cousin David Everson. There will be no visitation. A funeral service in remembrance of his life will be held in St. John’s Presbyterian Church, 28 Second Street, East, Cornwall, on Saturday September 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Denise Allen-Macartney officiating. Following the service, friends will be received in the Church Hall. Interment at a later time in North Branch Cemetery, Martintown, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the “Phil Everson Memorial Fund” would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made care of the Ottawa Community Foundation, 301-75 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 5E7; by cheque payable to the Ottawa Community Foundation with Phil Everson Memorial Fund in the memo or online at www.PhilEversonFund.ca.
