June 18, 1920 – September 11, 2019
Pat passed away following a brief illness. He was born in Lloydminster, the son of Ethel (Nicol) and Dr. Robert Holt. Pat is survived by his daughter Maureen (David) Mitchell of Calgary and son Ken of Lloydminster. Pat will be remembered by his sister-in-law Joyce Edwards of Sannichton, BC and brother-in-law Cecil Bayes of Brandon, Man. and as “Uncle Pat” to numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the role great friends have played in Pat’s life, the Horizon Village Community, particularly Zella, Ethel, Josie, Fred and Sally; Golf and Crib partners Ted and Gordon.
Pat served in the Canadian Dental Corps during WWII and graduated from the University of Toronto in Dentistry in 1950. He practiced dentistry in Lloydminster for 35 years. He was an active member of the Lloydminster Rotary Club.
At Pat’s request, there will be no funeral service. A family inurnment will be held at a later date.
