GOODE, Patricia Jean (nee Guthrie) 1939-2019 – suddenly at her home on Friday, September 6th, 2019 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Gwilym Goode (2002). Loving mother & grandmother of Trevor (Dani Lancaster), children Melody & Tristen (Dan Boyd); Brett of Simcoe, daughter Nina; Justin (Karen Admiral) of Vienna, children Adaya & Aliviah and the late Llewellyn (2008). Dear sister of Sharon Guthrie, Jim Guthrie (Marilyn), both of Simcoe and Wayne Guthrie (Alice) of Hagersville. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Jean Guthrie of Simcoe aswell as by several nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by siblings Alma Tostik (late John), Carson Guthrie (late Norma) & Aubrey Guthrie. Pat will be sadly missed by Gwilym’s brothers Fred Jr. (Betty) and Gordon Goode. Pat was a long time employee of Canada Post and was devout in her faith to Jehovah. Friends are invited to share their memories of Pat with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Personal reflections will be shared at 7:30 p.m. Private interment of ashes: Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Pat are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
