Obituary for Monique Arbour
On September 2nd, 2019, in her 76th year, Monique passed away peacefully after her long battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her children Nancy and Frederic Ward, her grandchildren, and her partner of 44 years Raymond Landry, who will always have fond memories of their time together. Monique was a hard worker, always learning how to gather more experience and knowledge which led her to be the VP of Finance and Administration at Mohawk College. As her cancer progressed, she was placed at Emmanuel House that provided excellent palliative care as per her own words. We agree from what we saw, a BIG THANK YOU to the staff. As per Monique’s wish, private cremation as taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King St. E., Dundas on Friday, September 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (additional parking at the Air Force Club). In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Emmanuel House would be welcomed.
