Mary Theresa Prosser, 86 of
Riverview passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday,
September 9, 2019.
Theresa was a former employee
with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and Wandlyn Inn. She was a member of Mount
Royal United Church, over 50 year member of Wesley Memorial United
Church UCW, and was a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi
Sorority.
Theresa enjoyed reading, going
out for lunch, sitting on her deck enjoying the sun, as well as
exercise and yoga classes. Most of all, her truest love was spending
time with her friends and family.
Theresa will be sadly missed
by her children, Sue Leger (Terry) of Moncton, Barb Corkum (Keith) of
Ottawa, ON, and David Prosser of Moncton: grandchildren, Che Corkum
(Melanie), Kris Corkum (Anne Marie) and Ben Leger; great
granddaughters, Noelle and Audrey. She was the last surviving member
of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents,
Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, Aubrey
M. Prosser (April 2008)
A celebration to honour
Theresa’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, September
13th, 2019 at 2pm. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home
Reception Centre. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
In memory of Theresa,
donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or SPCA would be
