Mary “Kay”‘s Obituary
Langille, Mary Carol “Kay” – 77, Oxford, formerly of Wallace Bay, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Marjorie Langille. Kay enjoyed her work with the Sunset Work Program and as well all of the clients really enjoyed working with her. Kay also liked knitting, colouring and needlepoint and it was said that she made the best bread and rolls around. She is survived by her sister, Judy Allen, Pugwash; brothers, Dale Langille, West Pugwash; Dean Langille, Pugwash; sisters-in-law, Betty Langille, Gulf Shore; Wilma Langille, Port Howe; brother-in-law, Leo Farrell, Mississauga; 20 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Cecil and Carman Langille; sisters, Iva Farrell and Norma Stevenson; brother-in-law, Hector Allen; sisters-in-law, Jean and Kathy Langille. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash, from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Middleboro. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
