Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday, September 16, 2019. Mary Helliwell (Snelgrove) Owens, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Ellwyn Owens, and dear mother of Elizabeth Ann Koene (John), Sandra McInnis (Gus), Robert Owens and Mary Lou Owens. Also survived by a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her two brothers Charles and Malcolm Snelgrove and a sister Eleanor Ferguson.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel, 2451 County Rd. 15, Maitland on Saturday, September 28 from 12 noon until 1 pm. A ceremony celebrating Mary’s life will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson’s Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
