1928-2019
SAINT-ANTOINE, NB – Marthe Maillet 91, of
Saint-Antoine passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Born in
Saint-Éloi, Quebec she was the daughter of the late
Phillias Gauthier and late Marie-Blanche (Malenfant)
Gauthier.
Marthe will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Francine
Théberge (Elie) of Montreal, Aline Piché
(Pierre) of Ste. Agathe des Monts, Aline LeBlanc (Rhéal) of
Saint-Antoine, Christine Reidpath (Adrien) of St. Norbert; nine
grandchildren, Brigitte, Denis, Alexandre, Nathalie, Justin, Patrick,
Jessica, Peter, Michael and nine great grandchildren,
Béatrice, Danika, Thomas, Elliot, Olivia, Mckenna, Lincoln,
Ivory and Ella.
She is also survived by five sisters,
Thérèse Gauthier (late Gerard),
Marcelle Gauthier, Gisele Gauthier (late Arthur), Francine Gauthier,
Aline Gauthier (late Hugues) all of Riviere-de-Loup; one brother,
Edmond Gauthier (late Maryline) of Trenton, ON and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Néri Maillet; one son, Michel; one daughter Marie; one
son-in-law, Scott; one sister, Cecile and three brothers,
Gérard, Father Daniel and Leo
Paul.
Visitation will be held at the St. Antoine du
Désert Catholic Church Slumber room on Sunday from 7-9 pm,
Monday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 am, St.
Antoine de Désert Catholic Church, 24 avenue de Eglise,
St-Antoine. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
