The family of Marilyn Craig are heartbroken to announce the death of their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother which occurred on September 4, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Duane Craig, of 46 years; her children, Laura Scott (Keith) and Emily Pitre (Rene); grandchildren, Jonathan Craig, Victoria Scott, Jordan Scott, Breanna Gallant and Ryan Pitre; great-grandson, Chase Craig; sister, Arleen Laforest; chosen sister, Naida Kinney; and, several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Edgar Colwell and Della Cole, as well as her sister Noreen Kennedy.
Marilyn was known for her love of children and family. Her kindness, unconditional love, and sharp wit touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Visitation will be held on Sunday,
September 8, 2019 from 12-2 pm at York Funeral Home’s, T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, for family and close friends, followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm, with Pastor Joe Beesley officiating.
Donations in Marilyn’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Portage Fredericton. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
