It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peg) Kavanagh (Kielley) on September 19, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (Bud) and son Timothy (Tim), her parents Emily and Jack Kielley, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Also predeceased by many close friends, especially Ruth Kielley and Nora Cahill. Leaving to mourn her daughter Mary, sons Michael (Colleen), Bernard, grandchildren, Heather, Laura (Stefan), Julia, Emily, Sean and Bonnie, and many nieces and nephews of the Kielley and Kavanagh families.
A heartfelt thank you to Gladys and Paul Kavanagh who took care of Mom as though she was their own mother. Mom loved seeing you every day.
A special thank you to the staff at Tiffany Village for all your acts of kindness and loving care over the past 6 years. You have a special place in our hearts.
Also thank you to St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on 7 West and Emergency Department for your wonderful care.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, September 23, 2019 at St. Pius X Church at 9:30 am. Flowers graciously declined, though memorial donations may be made to the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital Foundation (healthcarefoundation.ca).
