It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Linda Anne Scott-Packo.
Linda was born in Wpg but grew up in Grand Rapids. She later moved to the city where she lived with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going for walks, spending time with her family and friends. Linda had a big heart; she would help anyone when she could. She will be greatly missed by everyone who got to meet her.
She is survived by her children Tiffany, Shayna, Shanaya and Sheldon. Husband David Packo. Grandchildren Shylanna, Drezus and Mariah. Sisters Tarrah, Tamarrah; Sherri and Emma Cochrane. Brothers Thompson J.r, Ronald, Nathan, Edward; John and Jordan Cochrane. Aunties Barbara, Harriet, Annie, Doreen and Gladys. Uncles Wayne and Mike.
Nieces, Nephews and many cousins. Her close friends in Grand Rapids and all the friends she met in Winnipeg.
Predeceased by her Mother Grace Scott, Father Gregory Cochrane, Daughter Shalana Packo, Stepson Christian Packo, Grandparents Archie and Gladys Scott, Father in Law Harold Packo Sr, Sister Melanie Scott, Uncles David, Norman, Nelson and Pat Scott.
Wake service will be held on Wednesday September 25,2019 and Thursday September 26,2019 at the Grand Rapids Band Hall. Funeral service will follow on Friday September 27,2019 at 11:00a.m. also from the band hall. Pastor Wayne Scott officiating. Interment to follow. Pallbearers David Packo, Sheldon Packo, Thompson Jr. Young, Nathan Young, Ish Scott, Rudy Carpenter.
We would like to thank Chief and Council and the community of Grand Rapids for their love and support during this difficult time.
