À son domicile, le 18 septembre 2019, à l’âge de 78 ans, est décédé monsieur Léonard Savoie. Il demeurait à Sainte-Anne comté de Gloucester.
Né à Caraquet, il était fils de feu Apollinaire Savoie et de feu Henriette Lanteigne. Il laisse dans le deuil ses frères : Jean-Eudes et Médard (Stella Pallot) et ses sœurs : Carmelle Savoie tous de Bathurst et Elvine (Claude Guitard) de Pointe-Verte. Ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines.
Il n’y aura pas de visites à la maison funéraire. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 24 septembre 2019 en l’église Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire à 16h.
