It is with great sorrow that the family announce the sudden passing of Lawrence O’Malley at his residence in Elliot Lake on Sunday September 22, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Cecile O’Malley (nee St. Jacques). Loving father of Kenneth O’Malley (Lucie), Kevin O’Malley (Julia), both of Sudbury, Danny O’Malley (Ornella) of Kelowna, B.C. & Peggy O’Malley of Red Deer, AB. Predeceased by his son Keith O’Malley (late Michelle Rounding) of Elliot Lake. Special grandfather to Christopher, Kodie, Kole, Aryanna, Brody, Camryn & Kyla (Shane). Cherished great grandfather to Cohen & Jordan. Dear brother of Mae Russell, Doreen Beaulne (Bert), Robert O’Malley (Lennie) & Florence O’Malley. Special friend of Mery Green. A memorial mass celebrating Lawrence’s life will be held at St. Bernadette Parish in Elliot Lake on Friday September 27, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Father Anthony Man-Song-Hing officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
