Lawrence England Connor (Larry)
(November 20, 1942 – September 23, 2019)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence (Larry) England Connor at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake, in his 77thyear. He leaves behind his beloved and caring wife of 45 years, Charlotte Vlahovich. Predeceased by his parents Gladys (Happy) and George Connor, his brother Phil, and sisters Karen and Merry; as well as his parents-in-law, Audrey and Zivko (Jeep) Vlahovich, and brother-in-law Anthony Vlahovich.
Fondly remembered by brothers Gerry, Victoria, B.C and Erin (Colleen), Ottawa. Also remembered by in-laws Joy Connor, Victoria, B.C. Susan Vlahovich, Janet (George) Middleton, Nevada, US, Dianne Vlahovich, Zora (John) Gentile, and Joanne (Dan) Weeks, Pemberton, B.C.
Will be missed by nieces; Chelsea (Andy), Briana (Michael), Carling (Alex),
Lilienne, Vannaleigh, Katey, and Ashten.
As well as nephews; Gerrett, Nash, Brendan (Brittany), Alan, Brent (Rheannon), Mitchell, and Evan, and great nieces and nephews; Ashlyn, Eloise, Noah, Luca, Kinsley, Emmett and Emma. Greatly missed by his furry “noisifer”, Dusky!
Cremation has taken place, and friends are invited to share memories at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre on Tuesday October 1st, 2019 at 11:30 a.m until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. Internment to follow at the Woodlands Cemetery in Elliot Lake.
Sincere thanks to Dr. DeBortoli, Dr. Chau, the nursing staff on the third and first floors at the hospital, staff and services from Home Care (NELHIN), and to his special “nurse” Samantha.
Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society Elliot Lake, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
