Obituary of Kevin Patrick Archibald
ARCHIBALD , Kevin Patrick – age 59 of Truro, left this world suddenly on September 16, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Elliott Lake, ON, he was a son of the late Wallace and Muriel (Babe) Archibald.
Kevin was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Kevin enjoyed reading, especially biography and autobiography books. He was a historian and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. He was a full of fun and had many stories to tell; he liked to kid around a lot.
He is survived by his wife, and the love of his life, Donna (Stoddart); siblings, Heather (Wayne) Teasdale, Ron (Lynn), Brian and Anne Marie. He has an extended family of sister’s in-law, special nieces and nephews from both the Archibald and Stoddart families.
He was predeceased by his brother, Brent in infancy.
Kevin had many supportive and special friends which the family would like to thank.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Visitation will be held 2-5pm Monday, September 23rd in Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince St. Truro, from where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, September 24th, Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village.
No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Brookside Cemetery or a charity of choice.
