Julie Christine Hardy

Obituary of Julie Christine Hardy
It is with profound shock and sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful Julie on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 45, after the onset of a sudden illness. Beloved wife of Russell Hardy, cherished mother of Grace and Nolan, adored daughter of Ross and Ursula Williamson, daughter in law of Jane and Gerry McIlwain. Deeply loved sister of Tanja (Cory) Jones, Karen (Mark) Mitchell and sister-in-law to Garry (Debbie) Hardy. She will be forever missed by her many nieces and nephews, other relatives and countless friends and colleagues.
Julie touched the lives of everyone she met with her joy for life, contagious humor and overwhelming kindness. Everyone who met her fell in love with her. In addition to working full time as an accountant, Julie was a dedicated mom who loved nothing more than being with her husband and kids. In recent years all of Julie’s spare time was devoted to supporting her children in sports. They will forever remember her constant presence on the sidelines, cheering them on. Despite her busy schedule she always made time for others, and especially prioritized precious time with her extended family.
She was taken far too soon and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 1:00pm. In memory of Julie, donations may be made to the Toronto Police Widows and Orphans Fund. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
