Judy’s Obituary
STEWART, Judy Ann Ethel – 66, entered into the loving arms of her savior, Wednesday, September 25, 2019, ending her battle with cancer. Born in South Side, CSI, she was one of 15 children of Norman and Leora Nickerson. Judy was a faithful member of the New Testament Baptist Church, The Hawk, and deeply loved her Lord and was always ready to share her faith with others. She took great pride in her work. She worked in the schools as a custodian for many years. She also worked in fish plants from an early age. She loved sports! She was an amazing softball player and she enjoyed watching her family at their games. She was an avid Blue Jays fan and loved watching the games on TV. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John (Jack); son, Andy (Alma); daughter, Sherry (Wayne) Cameron; granddaughters, Brooke (Shane); Bailey (Sam); great-grandsons, Westyn Cameron; and Baby Jack Dulong; one brother, Clairmont Nickerson; sisters, Pauline Goodick; Diane (Norman) Goreham; Pam (Basil) Banks; and best friend, Josie Sullivan. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Waldon, Paul, Frankie, Johnny, Mitchell, Clark, Melvin; sisters, Rosalie, Renee, and Jean Marie. Her prayers were answered on the 24th of September as she got to meet Baby Jack. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors of the VG Hospital, Halifax, the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, and the VON staff for all of their care and support during these 2 years. There will be a visitation Friday, 7-9 p.m. at the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 29, at 2 p.m. at the New Testament Baptist Church, The Hawk, with Pastor Paul Lavender officiating. Interment to follow in the Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point. It has been requested there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
