Jordan Stoney
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Friday, August 30, 2019, at the age of 29.
Beloved son of Cathy and Stephen Stoney.
Loving brother of Ryan (Destiny Iahtail) of Attawapiskat, Adam of Mattagami First Nation, Jerrica of Mattagami First Nation, Bradford Matthews of Fort Severn and Ambrose Thomas of Attawapiskat.
Dear uncle of Archie, Richie, Keewadyn, Keemiwon, Remiah, Lance, Chase, Skyrah and Dylan.
Loving grandson of Nancy Stoney.
He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles: Dorothy (Curtis), Kim (Denis), Bev, Michel, Adelaide (Emesiah), Joyce, Diane, Bruce and Melvin.
Jordan is survived by many cousins.
Predeceased by his grandparents Archie Stoney, Margaret and Norman Naveau, and his cousin Kaneesha.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex.
Interment will follow at the Mattagami First Nation Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 7 beginning at 2 pm at the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex.
Donations made to the Kidney Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
