Peacefully with his family by his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the age of 35. Beloved husband of Danyell Desbarbieux. Cherished father of Jack and Grace. Loving son of Patrick Hughes and Elizabeth (nee McGuire). Dear brother of Jackie Molloy (Paul), Sharon O’Kane (Adrian), Paul Hughes (Julie), Patrick Hughes (Orla), Joanne Johnston (Ned) and Niamh Barclay (Patrick). Johnny will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, co-workers and his many friends. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 859 Barnardo Ave., Peterborough on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Reception will follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
