Obituary of Jolan Sathmary
SATHMARY- Jolan. We regret to announce that Jolan Sathmary passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 86. Jolan is survived by her husband George. She was born in Levelek, Hungary on May 14, 1933. Jolan came to Montreal in 1957 and began a career working for the Citrimbaum family. After living with them for 3 years, she opened her own successful business, Madame Montreal for 17 years. Jolan is predeceased by her parents Peter and Anna (Novak) and her 5 brothers. There will be on visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 337 Hellems Avenue, Welland on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Laszlo Miskei as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wainfleet. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
