John McLay Grant, (retired long-time teacher at Parry Sound High School; active member of St. James United Church) passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights, on Thursday, September 26th, 2019. Age 81 years.
Beloved husband of Carol. Dear father of Brian and his wife Mindy; Karen Grant; Peter and his wife Loretta; and Diane Grant and Gord. Loving Grandpa of Colin and Kaitlin. Great Grandpa of Kaiden. Dear brother of Arthur and his wife Doris, and the late Bobby. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and church family.
Private interment at Foley Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial Visitation in Celebration of John’s Life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855), on Friday, October 4th, between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
