On Monday September 9, 2019, John Gibson passed away quietly in St. Albert at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters: Christine and Cathy as well as family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Eve, Catherine, and Peggy.
Born in Leslie, Scotland, he immigrated to Canada at age 20. John worked in building sciences and was instrumental at creating innovative projects that would allow sustainability and high quality. He loved his family, fast cars, traveling, red wine, sunshine, and delicious food. He was known for being an engaging speaker, for his quick wit, and for helping others reach their potential.
At John’s request, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Foyer Lacombe Hospice, 1 St Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB, T8N 1K1, whose staff cared for him so graciously.
