Obituary of Jean Duguay
Duguay, Jean Mildred – At Bluewater Health on Thursday, September 19, 2019, Jean Duguay died at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Claude Duguay. Loving mother of Richard (Reberta), Kathy (Serge) Pronovost and Claudia Hall. Cherished grandmother of Bradley, Christopher, Corey, Paige and Jessica. Proud great-grandmother of Owen, Kaelin, Austyn and Poppy. Dear sister of Sonny (Lucy) Vallier, Elizabeth (John) Kurpel, Doreen McBride and sister-in-law Sharon Vallier. Predeceased by her parents Gordon & Mary Edna Vallier, brothers; Peter, James (Sheila) and Garry and sisters Theresa & Geraldine (John) Beauvais. Jean’s life was her family and spending time with them gave her great joy. She was an avid reader and loved to skate, swim and play cards. She was an exceptional baseball player in her time. Jean was a pet lover and especially enjoyed her daily walks with Molly. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St., Sarnia, N7T 7W8. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial will take place in Timmins at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
