James Phillip Buchanan

Buchanan, James Phillip, 48 of Rockville passed away September 26,2019. Born in Yarmouth he was a son of the late Wilfred Muise and Margaret Catherine Arey. James was a hard worker, a jack of all trades. In the last year and a half , his main priority was his beautiful grand daughter Amelia. She was his absolute pride and joy and loved spending time with her. He had a twinkle in his eye around her. He enjoyed playing crib, going to Mariner games, walks and his Sunday movies, which you did not interrupt. He is survived by his mother, Margaret (Doug) Arey ; Fiancé ,Angela Banks, Yarmouth; son, Jonathan (Megan Melanson) Buchanan, Yarmouth; sisters, Pam (Stephen) Saulnier, Port Maitland; Nancy Buchanan, Yarmouth; Sherry (Scott) Crowell, East Kemptville; Joan (Trevor) Taylor, Yarmouth; grand daughter Amelia. He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred; nephew, Matthew. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be a visitation Sunday, September 29,2019 from 7-9 pm. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, October 1,2019 at 2pm. both from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Family flowers only, however memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
