It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Jim on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Jim’s greatest accomplishment was his family who were the love of his life and always at his side especially throughout his brief illness. Born in Sydney on March 24, 1936, Jim was the son of the late John and Nora (Bonaparte) Slade of Sydney.
