Henry, now safe in the arms of Jesus, suddenly passed away at Kingston General Hospital on Monday September 2nd, 2019, at the age of 87. A long time resident of Bloomfield, many know him through the Nyman Open Garden on Main Street and from his many years of employment at ESSROC. Devoted husband for sixty years to Annie (nee Prinzen). Loved father of Rick and his wife Grace of Sheba’s Island, Joan and her husband Dave Crawford of Bloomfield and Lynette and her husband Larry Pennings of Carrying Place. Loving Grandpa to Carter, Jody (Liz), Sarah (Lonnie), Jessica (Tim), Kerri, Rachel (Ben), Jordan (Tessa), Kevin (Jessica), and Ian and twelve great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill, Ben, Dien, Grada, Riek and the late Jan, Johan, Arie and Lientje, and remembered with love by their families and the Prinzen families here in Canada and in the Netherlands. Friends may call at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton on Thursday, September 5th from 6 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 158 Main St., Bloomfield on Friday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will have taken place prior to the service. If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation Back The Build Campaign would be appreciated by the family.
