Safranyos, Helen (nee Kerekes, Ilona) – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at The Woodlands of Sunset in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bertram (2008) of 59 years. Loving mother of Richard (Rose) and Sheila. Cherished grandmother of Ian. Dear sister of Clara, Irene and Kathy and sister-in-law Mary Safranyos (Steve 2012). Predeceased by her sisters Anna, Elizabeth, Julie and Barbara. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Staff and Physicians at The Woodlands of Sunset for their outstanding care and compassion of our dear mother. The funeral service to honour Helen’s life will take place at the PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Saturday, September 14th at 12:00 noon. Visitation will take place from 10:00 -12:00 noon. Interment will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Woodlands of Sunset Auxiliary Fund.
