OSBORNE, Helen – With strength and dignity, surrounded by the love of her family, at Henley Place on Monday, September 2, 2019, Helen Osborne, nee Bedford of London in her 93rd year. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late C. Hugh Osborne (2010). Loving mother of Cathy Osborne Rice of London, David Hugh Osborne of Petrolia, and Dianne Osborne Konrad and her husband Bruno of Leamington. Dear grandmother of Dane Rice (Lindsay), Benjamin Rice (Ashley), and Kate Johnstone (Kyle), Sydney Churchman, Laura Konrad (Jason), Emma Konrad, and Greg Konrad (Vanessa) and great-grandmother of Jonathan, Hunter, and Peyton Churchman, Jack Rice, and Rosie Rice. Fondly remembered by her sister Irene Williams and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was a devoted mother, grandma and great-grandma and a dedicated volunteer with Parkwood Hospital Auxiliary for 45 years. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Grandwood Park and Henley Place for their gentle care and compassion.
The memorial service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday, September 6 at 12 noon, with visitation preceding from 11 am – 12 noon. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions to Parkwood Institute for the Auxiliary and Volunteer Association (care of St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation) or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
