JANUARY 10, 1935 – SEPTEMBER 3, 2019
Van Ryswyck, Harry – At the age of 84 years, passsed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on September 3, 2019. Beloved husband and best friend of Maria (Vanexem) for 59 years. Much loved father of Janet (John) Poel. Proud grandpa of Tom (Lauren) Poel and the Late Andrew Poel (2009). Survived by brother Peter (Astrid); Joe (Wilma); John (Josephine); Ted; brother-in-law Herman Bardoel; sister-in-law Marie and sister-in-law Diane. Predeceased by his parents John (1993) and Diane (1944), his sister Gertrude and brother-in-law Peter Reintjes, brother Bert, brother Martin and sister Betty. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and friends. In keeping with Harry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison Street West, Tillsonburg by Rev. Father John Pirt on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00 am. Family inurnment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221).
