Gwendolyn Maxine “Gwen”
Rushton – 73, Truro,
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Colchester
East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of
the late Carl and Erma (Murray) Rushton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Gwen’s
family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2019,
and funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Pastor Ken
Fillmore officiating. Reception will follow. Interment will be held in
Eagle Hill Cemetery, Westchester Station.
Full obituary will be published in the Thursday, September
19, 2019, edition of Truro News and will be updated on this website
when it becomes available.
