Obituary of Gerald Ralph Piers
It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Ralph Piers of Kingston, loving husband of Lena (Mailman) Piers, announce his passing on September 10, 2019 at his residence. Born on April 5, 1956 he was a son of the late Ralph and Thelma Piers.
In addition to his wife Lena, Gerald is survived by his children: Brandy Piers (Ryan King), Amanda Piers (Dave Randall) and Adam Piers; siblings, Bernetta Bonnevie and Alice (Gerald) Bonnevie; grandchildren: Brooke, Paige, Kane, Morgan, Oscar, Hartley and Leo; nieces and nephews: Christine, Mark, Kelly, Ryan, Adam, Kirk, Brent, Mark, Deider and Heidi and their spouses; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother George Piers, brother-in-law Edmund Bonnevie and nephew Peter Piers.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). There will be visitation at the Kingston Parish Church Hall, 3946 Route 845 Kingston on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 2pm to 8pm. A celebration of his life will be held at the Kingston Trinity Church on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Gerald may be made to Romero House or a charity of the donor’s choice.
