Mr. Gerald Alexander, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at home, after a short illness, on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the age of 93.
Gerald was born in Dover township and is the son of the late Fred and Dorilla (Lozon) Alexander.
Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Micola) Alexander and best friend of the late Jean Richardson.
Loving father and best friend of son Harry (Elizabeth) and the late Chris (Cindy) Alexander.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren John Gerald Alexander, Marlena (Brian) Isaacs and Jaime Alexander and great grandchildren Sadie Isaacs and Karlie Isaacs.
Great brother of Viola Little, Rosaire (Anne) Alexander, Lorne (Nancy) Alexander and predeceased by siblings Henry, Victor, Loretta, Amedee, Martha, Rita, Armand, Clements, Clarence, Victoria and Patricia.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends..
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following visitation at 11 a.m., all from the Chapel of the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
