Gary George Parenteau avis de deces NecroCanada

Gary George Parenteau

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved brother, father, and grandfather Gary George Parenteau, who passed away the evening of September 18, 2019, at the age of 74 years. He leaves to cherish his memory and courage, his children Cherie Parenteau-Cuncannon and Dwayne Parenteau, and their mother Pat Wenzel; Theodore and Nicholas Kontogonis; Lori (Mark), Kerrie, Jackie, and Bradley Parenteau and their pre-deceased mother Helene Kontogonis. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren Kyle and Ryan Cuncannon and Nathan Parenteau. He also leaves to mourn his surviving siblings Rosaire Parenteau (Shirley), Agnes Piquette (Rene), and Vi Whitlow.
Gary’s immeasurable strength had pushed him through many years of hardship including three heart attacks, a stroke, and two amputated limbs. Even though he was in pain most days, he always had a smile when his family and friends came to visit. His sense of humour never wavered, even on his worst days. He was always worried about everyone else, never himself, which was a true measure of his character. He was loved by so many, made so many friends throughout his years, and he will be dearly missed by many. His kids rest easy knowing he is in a place where he is whole again and reconnected with his best friend and last love Helen Kontogonis.
A visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 91st Street NW, Edmonton on September 28, 2019, from 1 PM to 3 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place following the viewing at 4:30 PM at 5208 45th Avenue, Leduc. Refreshments and food will be provided. If you decide to attend, please RSVP as soon as possible to Jackie Parenteau.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gary George Parenteau..
