Frederick “Fred” Bertram Brindley, age 88 of Walkerton, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 67 years, father of Linda (Paul) Fawcett of Hamilton, Perry (Kendra) of Waterloo, Debbie (Marc) Primmer of Kitchener, Shelley (Terry) Golbeck of Sauble Beach and Pam (Dave) Davies of Kitchener. Fred was the proud grandpa of Keely, Corey (Nikki), Dawn (Brandon), Jason, Jordan (Katrina), Alexis (Cam), Taralyn, Candice, Rob, and great-grandpa of Madison, Alyssa, Rylan, Kylie, Sierra, Avery, and Cole. Fred will be missed by his sister-in-laws Audrey Brindley of Kitchener, Betty Stroeder of Walkerton, and brother-in-law Jerry Frank of Waterloo.
Predeceased by brothers Calvin (Vera), Everett (Marie), Wilbur (Roberta), Richard, sister Kathleen (Phillip) Vaughan, brother-in-law Albert Stroeder and sister-in-law Helen (Jack) Church.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton. Pastor Cathy Paul officiating.
Private family interment at Walkerton Cemetery.
