It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Freddie at the age of 58. He is survived by his eight children; Charlene, Freddie Jr., Frances, Melissa, Samantha, Vanessa (Melvin), Sheryll, Nathaniel, and twenty- seven grandchildren, his siblings Mary, Baptist (Janice), Irene, Diane and Florence, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Freddie was predeceased by his mother Lena, father Edward, brothers Herman and Wilfred and his daughters Crystal and beautiful Angel baby girl.
Freddie spent most of his life in the North End of Winnipeg. As a young man he loved playing hockey, baseball, football and mentored lots of young people. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially going out for coffee and for rides. He was a quiet jokester who loved making others laugh.
Freddie became Christian over 20 years ago and dedicated his life to the lord. He loved spending his days as a fishing guide and working on countless vehicles. During his quiet times he spent his hours praising and talking to the Lord, up until his passing on September 1, 2019. He was prepared to leave his life for his eternal home with this Lord and Savior. He is forever loved, and the amazing memories will always be cherished.
Wake service will be held on Wednesday September 11, 2019 from 7pm-11pm Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips St. Funeral service will follow on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 11am at Calvary Temple (Buntain Chapel) 440 Hargrave St. viewing 10:30 till time of service. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
