COLLINS, FLORENCE HILDA – 94, Dartmouth, passed away September 7, 2019. Born in Birmingham ,England, she was a true British Lady until the end. She loved her family and was an avid cake decorator and teacher and is remembered by many for her talents. Flo (as she was called by her many friends) was also known to never turn down a cup of tea and a chat. And her door was always open to friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael and Father George Henry Layton and Mother Caroline Emily Mason.Survived by sons Michael (Genny) and Terry and daughter Caroline (Jocelyn). Will be missed by grandson Michael, granddaughter Keshia(Jeff) 2 great-grandchildren Calie and Colby and extended family Cheryl and Nadine along with many relatives overseas.
Visitation and services are being planned and will be posted when finalized.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Northwood Manor, Halifax.
