ETMANSKI, Evelyn (nee Porter)
Passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Rideaucrest Home, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of Edward Etmanski for 74 years. Loving mother of Elaine Barker (Sterling) and Susan McLaren (Cam). Cherished grandmother to Dale Barker (Jennifer), Scott Barker (Janice), Marcie McLaren-Harriman (Ryan) and beloved great-grandmother to Mason, Blake, Eli, Danielle and Lily. Survived by her sister Freda Swerbrick (John) and predeceased by siblings Henry, Arthur, Irene Johnston, Kenneth, James and Elaine. Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium. The Etmanski family will receive friends at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Thursday, October 3 from 12:30 pm until 1:20 pm. Funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 1:30 pm with Reverend Valerie Kelly and The Venerable Bill Clarke officiating. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens will be followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Evelyn’s memory.
